Just a reminder for all Wildcat Fans that the Gareth Ellis Testimonial Challenge is set for 25th January, 2pm at Belle Vue.

It will be a tough fixture for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats against a Hull FC side who finished one point and one position above us in the Super League table last season.

The focus for both clubs will be fine tuning performances on the pitch a month before the 2015 SL season kicks off. The game is set to feature a host of new signings for both sides, Australian Centre Steve Michaels and 19 year old full back Curtis Naughton could take part in the tie for FC, whilst Wildcats will hope to give run outs to Lopini Paea, Mickael Simon and Craig Hall.

Wildcats could also feature Jacob Miller, who will face his former club Hull FC after being released at the end of last season after 18 months at the club.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Chairman, Michael Carter said, "It will obviously be our last warm up game before the season starts in earnest, it should be a really good test for us against a strong Hull FC side."

"It will be a great opportunity for both clubs to show their appreciation for Gareth Ellis who has been a world class player and represented both clubs during his career with great honour. I would hope to see a decent turn out from both sets of fans to show their appreciation in what will hopefully be a really good game."

Ticket prices for this game will be released in due course.
