Wakefield Trinity Wildcats head coach, James Webster has made a few changes to the squad for the Featherstone Rovers friendly on Sunday.

Nick Scruton is back from injury to make his way into the first team replacing Ian Kirke who has picked up a small knock in training, Matty Ashurst also misses out.

Several of the youngsters; Max Jowitt, Brad Moules and Harry Swan who appeared against Leeds Rhinos on Boxing Day have made way for Jarrod Sammut, Ali Lauitiiti, Dean Collis and Reece Lyne who have all returned to make the 22 man squad.

Webster said, "We are looking for a massive improvement so we are looking to put our strongest possible squad out."

"We are not looking for a result to dictate whether the friendly is successful or not, we are coming here to get as many positives as possible."

"The majority of the game we will play people in their correct positions to see how we look, we only have five or six weeks left before the first game so we need to see exactly where we are and where people are playing."
