Prop, Anthony Walker has joined Wakefield Wildcats until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old is the fourth signing this week for Brian Smith, linking up with the squad today ahead of the fixture against Hull FC next Wednesday.
Walker started his playing career at St Helens and made his debut against Bradford in 2013. He later represented his country Wales in the Rugby League World Cup, making his debut season one to remember.
Chairman, Michael Carter has expressed his delight on the signing of Anthony Walker saying, “I would like to welcome Anthony to the club. Brian Smith approached me after discussing a role at the club for Anthony.
“I have been suitably impressed with Anthony’s qualities both physically and mentally, and I am sure that he will perform very well for the rest of the season.
“I would also like to thank Mike Rush and St Helens for the coorporation in this deal.”
