Wildcats staff, players and principle sponsor Plumbcare.com spent the day yesterday getting colourful in support of Wakefield Hospice. The Wildcats players and Daddy Cool were at the start line, along with well over 1000 runners for the charity run in Thornes Park.
The staff and sponsors manned a colour station at the event which was a great success and enjoyed not just by the runners, but the paint throwers as well.
“It was a really brilliant day for all involved” said Michael Carter, Chairman at Wakefield Trinity. “We were more than happy to show our support for such a good cause and it was great to see such a range of ages taking part from young to old. We really enjoyed splattering them all with paint!!”
Wakefield Hospice host a number of fundraising events throughout the year. If you are keen to get involved, keep an eye on their website for future events taking place in the area - http://www.wakefieldhospice.org/Events
