GB Armed Forces head coach Damian Clayton has named his team to face Combined Australian Services at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, tomorrow (Wednesday July 8).

The forces personnel will do battle as a curtain-raiser to the deciding third State of Origin fixture between Queensland and New South Wales.
Clayton, who watched his squad carry out their last training session at RAAF Amberley base in Ipswich, Brisbane, said “Some tough decisions were made, obviously all were desperate to make the team. This is a talented squad and I knew selection headaches would come as part of the job.

“I’m extremely proud of the team and I could have picked any one of those 21 players, but I have gone for partnerships that I think will win us the game at Suncorp Stadium.

“The bond between these players is fantastic. We all know that a collective effort is needed to beat the Australians on Wednesday.”
