Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are proud to support the Founders Walk, which is visiting the homes of the 22 clubs that founded the Northern Union.
The Founders Walk will take place in association with the sport’s charity, Rugby League Cares, and will they will be aiming to raise £120,000 in celebration of the sport’s 120th anniversary.
Fans can sign up to take part in the walk, whether you would like to take part in the whole walk which takes place across six days from Sunday 22nd July to July 24th. Or if you would like to just walk on one of the day, it will be visiting Belle Vue as the last ground on the second day which is on Monday 20th July.
Other activities include the installation of a blue plaque at the grounds of each of the 22 founding clubs, the unveiling statue at Wembley Stadium on the day of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final. Finally, the induction of two more of the sport’s all time greats into the Rugby League Hall of Fame.
