The final round of the Super 8s Qualifiers sees Wakefield Wildcats travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield Eagles on Saturday 27th September. Kick-off 3pm.
The Wildcats already know they will be playing in the Million Pound Game on October 3rd but they must win against the Eagles to guarantee home advantage. As for Sheffield, despite them knowing they have no chance of gaining Super League promotion, there is still plenty to play for as a win could see them finish as the second-highest team from the Kingstone Press Championship and end their fantastic season on a high.
Brian Smith makes three changes to his 19-man squad; Captain Danny Kirmond returns from a long-term injury and Scott Anderson and Reece Lyne are also brought back into the reckoning. Lee Smith, Jordan Crowther and Anthony Walker are the three that miss out.
The 19-man squads are named below:
EAGLES: Togagae, Turner, Yere, Smeaton, Worrincy, Brambani, Aston, Battye, Carlile, M. Stringer, Knowles, Straughier, Walker, Taulapapa, Petersen, Davies, Davey, Tonks, Millar.
WILDCATS: Anderson, Annakin, Arundel, Ashurst, Godinet, Johnstone, Jowitt, Kirmond, Lauitiiti, Lyne, Miller, Mullally, Scruton, Simon, Sio, Tansey, Tupou, Washbrook, Yates.
