BRIAN SMITH EXTENDS DEAL FOR 2016

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats announced last night that Brian Smith will be the head coach in 2016.

Smith who came to the Wildcats in June secured Super League status in 2016, has extended his deal to remain head coach in 2016.

Chairman Michael Carter has expressed his delight saying, "I am ecstatic that Brian is staying for another year. He is building a club here both on and off the field. He has committed to us and I have made a commitment to him. We have a real chance to build something special here and we need everyone on board to do that.

"Brian is a fantastic man and this is a special moment for the club to retain a head coach of his class and calibre."
