Wakefield Trinity Wildcats to revive Past Players Association

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are attempting to revive the Past Players Association and the club is starting with a social evening ‘pie & pea’ night. This is just an informal get-together to see how many past players we can initially get together.

The event will be staged in the Legends Bar at the club on Friday 4th March 2016 at 7.30pm at a cost of £10 for all ex-players. On the night, each ex-player will receive their pie and peas, two drinks and their heritage certificate. There will also be special offers to all past players on reduced cost season tickets or £10 entry fee to any Wildcats' home game with an offer of £10 per guest. The Legends Bar will be a designated 'Past Players' bar on match days where we will also be inviting past players from the opposition clubs

The club have been working closely with the 'Trinity Heritage' team in offering these options to all past players. It must be noted that to qualify as an ex-player, you must have represented the club at first team level and received a heritage number. All bookings must be made through Trinity Heritage on trinity-heritage@sky.com on contact Lee Robinson on 07702 095118, which will also confirm a heritage certificate if required.

So far there have been forty confirmed bookings with players ranging from representing the club in the early 1950s to modern day Super League.
