For the 2016 season, Morrisons logistics have decided to partner with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Morrisons Logistics J41 Wakefield kindly sponsored our Christmas Fayre at the end of last year and fans will see advertising from Morrisons Logistics around various parts of the ground.

Bob Mackay, Site Manager at Wakefield Logistics, has explained why they decided to get involved with the club and the impact that it has already started to have on their employees.

"I run the Morrisons Supermarket Distribution Centre in Wakefield. Being a big employer in the area, we were delighted to team up with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats to allow us to become even better known in the community. We now have a seasonal box at the ground and have used this for our strategy session for 2016; and we were treated very well indeed.

“Being affiliated to the Wildcats has created a real buzz around the depot; I have been asked by lots of my colleagues how they can get access to use the box. It’s our intention to use it to celebrate our colleagues that go the extra mile either in our work-place or in the local community. Good luck for the rest of the season guys!"

"I am so pleased to have Morrisons Logistics on board with us at the Wildcats for the 2016 season" says Wakefield Trinity Commercial Manager, Verity Thomas. "We have built a great relationship with the Morrisons team over a few short months and we look forward to seeing how the partnership can develop during the year and over future seasons."

First team players went to meet Morrisons Logistics staff last week and a number of Wakefield fans got their photos taken with the boys.
