SAINTS V WILDCATS PREVIEW

posted on 11 March 2016

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will take the trip to Langtree Park this evening to face St Helens in the sixth round of the First Utility Super League, kick-off 8pm.

It will be the fourth away game out of six for the Wildcats in what has already been a challenging season on and off the field. Stuart Dickens who is in charge of the squad this evening has only made one change to the side that faced Catalans Dragons just five days ago, Anthony Walker comes in to replace Chris Annakin.

St Helens who have only played four league games this season after taking part in the World Club series have only lost one fixture and that was away at Salford Red Devils in the second round. They will be looking for their third consecutive victory after previously beating Hull KR and Castleford Tigers, they will be without Travis Burns and Theo Fages this evening and 20 year old Jack Ashworth has been named.

The Wildcats will be looking for an impressive start after going down 26-0 in the first half hour against Catalans Dragons last weekend. They will also be looking to make amends after losing 44-4 at Langtree Park last season with the only try coming from Tom Johnstone.
