DANCEXPLOSION LOOKING FOR SPONSORSHIP

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Official Dance squad “Trinity X” are on the look-out for sponsors to help fund their new match-day dance show.

The newly formed dance team, who held their first rehearsal on Wednesday 20th April, are currently preparing for the Wildcats fixture against Warrington Wolves at Belle Vue on Sunday 15th May, when Trinity X will entertain the crowd at half-time for the first time.

Trinity X, who will perform at each Wakefield home game thereafter, are keen to establish sponsors to help them fund their outfits, equipment and training, and sponsorship of the team would ensure your name was seen by thousands of people at Belle Vue Stadium when they perform during the games.

DanceXplosion owner Jodie Travis, who coaches the dance team, is looking forward to their first outing at the Wildcats home.

“We are very lucky to have got some fantastic dancers that are amazing to work with. I can't wait to see them entertain the crowd on 15th May,” she said.

Lead Community Officer, James Stephenson acknowledged Jodie’s comments “It will be great to see the new Senior squad Trinity X perform live on match days, Jodie has worked really hard over the last few months to grow DanceXplosion and this really is the icing on the cake! Our close partnership is working really well and I am extremely pleased for her and also for what lies ahead!”

DanceXplosion, who have a close partnership with the club, are also on the lookout for children aged three and over to join their dance team to learn fun and energetic street dance routines, and potentially progress towards the Wildcats’ Official Dance Team and performing on match-days.

With dance having been a hugely successful part of the club for close to a decade, Jodie, who has been an integral part of that success of, is keen to expand the number of children within the academy and ensure that continues.

The academy is open to any children aged three and upwards, with no previous dance experience necessary, and runs every Tuesday at Belle Vue Stadium. Anyone wanting to see a timetable or further information is asked to email Jodie at dancexplosion2016@yahoo.co.uk.
