HEALTHPOD TO VISIT WAKEFIELD TRINITY WILDCATS

posted on 11 May 2016

If you are heading to our fixture with Warrington Wolves on Sunday, you may spot the HealthPod in the North East Corner.

The HealthPod is a mobile outreach service that ‘takes care out into the community’. It provides on-the-spot access to a range of local health and care services, without an appointment, and visits all corners of Wakefield throughout the year helping thousands of local people.

Inside the pod itself, you will be able to undergo a free health check to make sure you’re in tip-top condition along with help and advice about the best local services if you’re not.

If you get to the ground a few minutes early on Sunday, why not pop into the HealthPod to get your free check-up or health information, or download the ‘Wakefield HealthPod’ app, where you can gain access to an A-Z health index, handy symptom checker and a directory of local services, as well as information about where the HealthPod will pop up next.
