Title sponsor First Utility has today revealed the nominations for the Official First Utility Super League Player of the Month competition for April, which lets fans vote for the league’s most outstanding players, with Wakefield Trinity Wildcat’s Jacob Miller making the shortlist.
Four tries in his last four games, including a hat-trick against Wigan, Jacob Miller is a worthy finalist for April’s First Utility Super League Player of the Month. His Wakefield side have defied their critics so far this season, and April’s results sees the Wildcats start this month in 7th place. With Miller’s shortlisting coming the month after Tom Johnstone was nominated, the future is looking bright for Wakefield.

Each fan who votes will go into a prize draw with one lucky supporter getting the chance to present the First Utility Super League Player of the Month trophy to the winning player. The two players with the most votes will then be considered by a judging panel consisting of representatives from First Utility & League Weekly, where an overall winner will be revealed.
Voting is now open, and the April First Utility Super League Player of the Month shortlist is as follows:
