WILDCATS FAN TO RAISE MONEY FOR CANCER SUPPORT

posted on 30 June 2016

On Sunday 3rd July, Louise Wilby will shave off all her hair to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research.

Louise is supporting these charity's to remember family and close friends who have sadly passed away, and has set herself a target of £1000.

Louise has also been inspired to complete this personal challenge through her work as an ambulance driver, transporting and talking to patients who are affected by cancer, young and old.

She decided to undergo her head shave in one of the most public of places, by doing it at the Wakefield Wildcats game against St. Helens. She hopes to raise awareness on the day and also hold a collection whilst undergoing her head shave.

To donate, you can visit Louise’s fundraising page here.

If you’re affected by cancer, you can call the Macmillan team free on 0808 808 00 00 (Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm) or visit www.macmillan.org.uk for more information.
