FUN AND FITNESS ON SATURDAY
Fill your Saturday afternoon with fun and fitness this weekend with the Wakefield College Family Fun Day and a free fitness class with some of the Wildcats first team players.
Join Ben Cockayne at the Wakefield College family fun day then for a fun fitness session in Normanton.
Fans favourite Ben Cockayne has had a good year on and off the pitch, with the winger in the running for the Members Player of the Year and off it has set up his own personal training classes under the title Ben-e-fit and he’s at the heart of both events on Saturday.
He’ll be joining Paul Aiton at the Wakefield College fun day from midday where there’s a bouncy castle, water zorbing, a rodeo bull, trampolining plus lots of free activities and competitions to make it a great day for all the family at Thornes Park campus.
Cockayne will then be heading to Creepers sports field in Normanton for 2.30pm where he, Kyle Wood and Russ Spiers are offering people the chance to train with them for free on Saturday afternoon at a fun and relaxed fitness session.
There will be team games to get involved with with for anyone over the age of 16 welcome to come and take part with parents invited to bring children down if they want to chat with some of the Wildcats stars although the class itself is strictly for over 16′s.
Come down to the Wakefield College family fun day at Thornes Park campus tomorrow from 11am with all the family, then if you’re looking for some fun fitness join Cockayne, Wood and Spiers at Creepers sports field from 2.30pm.
Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust will also be present promoting healthy lifestyles and showing the importance of having a healthy heart as part of their Heart Research UK project.
Thornes Park campus is located at WF2 8TY with Creepers sports field in Normanton located behind the Bronte Pub, WF6 1LL.
