WILDCATS TO FACE SALFORD AT LEIGH
Wakefield Wildcats can now confirm that the final game of the regular Super League season against Salford City Reds will take place at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday 8th September, kick off: 6:15pm.
The round 27 fixture was due to be played on Friday but has since been moved for Sky after the hard fought victory over Widnes on Sunday evening made it six successive wins and leaves Trinity in pole position for the final spot in the play-offs.
The Salford home match has had to be moved due to their Salford City Stadium being unavailable on Saturday as joint tenants Sale Sharks hosting Saracens so the City Reds game has been switched and will now take place at Leigh.
All tickets that have already been purchased for the Salford game will remain valid for the rearranged time and venue but if for any reason you cannot make the new date then please contact the Wildcats where a full refund will be offered.
Ticket prices are as follows:
Junior swaps can be collected in advance from the Wildcats retail outlets whilst all juniors under 5 can also go for free.
For disabled tickets please call Salford directly on 0844 888 0200.
The Wildcats supporters will be situated in the South Stand (unreserved seating) at Leigh which has a capacity of approximately 1,900. Tickets issued for the original fixture are printed with North Stand, however, the change of venue now sees the Wildcats fans in the South Stand at Leigh Sports Village.
Cash turnstiles only will be on operation on the day of the game with no tickets being sold through the Leigh ticket office.
A big travelling support is expected and the club are advising supporters to buy their tickets in advance with Trinity financially benefiting as they receive 10% of all away tickets sold directly from the Wildcats.
Travel for the trip to Leigh to face Salford remains unchanged and is priced at £8.50 for members and £9.50 for non-members with coaches departing the Rapid Solicitors Stadium at 3:30pm and Wakefield bus station at 3:45pm.
Supporters are advised to book early should they wish to travel with the Away Travel Club to avoid disappointment. The club are working with our regular Away Travel Club coach company to put on as many coaches as possible, although at the moment can only take further declarations of interest until it is confirmed that coaches are available.
