Our Supporters
  The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Learning Zone is primarily funded through the Governments Playing for Success initiative. This is a three Way partnership between: DfES, Wakefield Council and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
1) Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
This is made up of an in-kind contribution. Items which can be offset against this include rent for the centre, heating, lighting, cleaning, phone and internet charges, presentation events, use of the club’s minibus, player appearances, rewards and incentives from the club shop and match tickets. 2) Wakefield Council (Standards Fund)
3) DfES Direct Grant
 Wooden Spoon is rugby's charity supporting mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged children and young people. Spoon has committed to over £11 million in spending for projects for children and young people. It has organised over 1,500 events and had 20,000 ties worn by its loyal members and supporters. Hardworking staff and volunteers have achieved all of this since the birth of the charity. Wooden Spoon generously provided The Learning Zone with £25,000 to help equip us with top of the range computer equipment.

They generously provide us with a free minibus so that we can ensure the young people are transported to The Learning Zone, and back to their home address safely in a quality vehicle
 Gusto Research provides qualitative and quantitative research services for blue chip clients in the Financial Services, Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Leisure sectors. They specialise in new product/concept development, customer satisfaction and communications research, embracing innovative methodologies, such as online focus groups and online quantitative surveys’. This makes Gusto Research a really valuable sponsor. They provide detailed analysis of pupils assessment. In addition they collate information gathered from parents, pupils, mentors, schools and other partners. This valuable information is very professionally presented to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Wakefield Council and The Government. This allows us to further develop the service we provide to young people in the Wakefield area.

Enterprise MPC is a leading provider of information, communication and technology products and services to support learning. They have over 15 years' experience in the education sector providing services to more than 15,000 schools and a range of local education authorities. This has given them the necessary expertise in the realities of service delivery, and has provided us with a substantial base from which to respond to the new challenges which ICT presents to education. Opportunities are being created internationally for learning to be targeted to individual needs, and for new patterns of delivery to be adopted. They are at the forefront of these developments which will impact upon the design of learning environments, the nature and use of ICT as a learning tool, and the support systems necessary to maintain a flexible infrastructure. This makes them an ideal partner in The Learning Zone; they provide us with free support and very welcome advice

The Wakefield Wildcats Learning Zone have now formed a partnership with Asda, Wakefield. Asda are now providing free fruit for the Wildcats Learning Zone to ensure that the children who attend the Learning Zone have healthy snacks to eat when they visit.
Commenting on the partnership that has now been formed, Learning Zone Manager Mark Winder said "The relationship with Asda shows that both partners are committed to improving the local community of Wakefield. It is very generous of them to provide free healthy snacks, showing that they value the young people of Wakefield"
