Kyle Trout has made an impression in Richard Agar’s first season at the club after making his debut at home to Bradford in February 2012. A member of the 2009 academy winning side, Trout impressed in his second pre-season as a full-time professional which forced him into Agar’s plans.

Monday 18th June 2012 is a day Trout will always remember as he scored his first ever try in Super League at the home of the Champions, Leeds Rhinos. His size and speed are two of the second-rowers strengths as he battles to make himself a consistent player in the first team of the red, white and blue.

The forward has been handed the number 18 jersey for the 2013 campaign to emphasise how highly Agar rates the former Stanley Rangers junior. Trout is just one example of the great work the clubs academy structure is providing thanks to the funds raised by Club 1873.
