Tom Rogers is a muscular centre who has worked his way through the Wakefield academy.
As a pupil of Horbury Academy, Tom is now studying a sports performance coaching degree at Wakefield College and has an interest in cycling. The Westage Wolves junior’s progression in rugby league has been quite remarkable really considering he is 50% deaf.
Tom has achieved a lot in his short career; he has represented Yorkshire and England Community Lions, as well as being crowned national champions with Wakefield College. Winning the Wakefield cup five years running is one of Tom’s greatest memories along with beating the French academy with England.
The youngster made his Trinity first team bow in a trial game against Doncaster at the start of the 2013 campaign.
Kallum Watkins and Greg Inglis are two players Tom admires and his ambitions for the future are to stay injury free and play first team rugby at Wakefield.
