Super League and Championship referee’s will put down their whistles and take part in a game of touch rugby in aid of the rugby league benevolent fund tonight (Tuesday).

The RFL referee's will take part in a charity touch rugby game next Tuesday.

The likes of Ben Thaler and Richard Silverwood will take on a Chairman’s Select XIII including Michael Carter himself, James Webster, Stu Dickens, Ryan Hudson, Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and former Wakefield players Mark Webster, Rich Kelly and Francis Maloney.

Kicking off at 6.30pm, the game of touch rugby will be 13-a-side with two 40 minute halves, and entry into the Rapid Solicitors Stadium will be just £1.
