HOMEGROWN DUO IN DERBY SQUAD

posted on 5 September 2014

Homegrown duo Chris Annakin and Jordan Crowther have been named in the 19-man squad to face Castleford Tigers on Sunday (3.30pm).

James Webster has called on the pair after injury deprives him of skipper Danny Kirmond (knee) and centre Dean Collis (quad).

Paul McShane will once again lead the team in the absence of Kirmond who is unlikely to feature in the final game of the season against Hull KR as he prepares for surgery on his knee and both hands.

Jimmy Keinhorst this week returned to Leeds Rhinos with the Challenge Cup holders missing Joel Moon through suspension, with the German international poised to face Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium this evening.

With the Tigers still gunning for the league leaders shield the game is expected to attract a big derby crowd and supporters are advised to purchase in advance where possible or arrive early on Sunday to avoid disappointment.

Junior swap tickets will be available from the Castleford Tigers ticket office on the day of the game.  At the time of writing, the club only have a limited number remaining.

Tickets are on sale from the Ridings Centre store only until 5pm on Saturday, subject to availability and are priced at £19 for adults, £11 for concessions/juniors with under 5's free but still requiring a ticket.
