Dance Festival success
Last Tuesday the second ‘Wakefield Wildcats Street Dance Festival’ of the year was staged.
More than 200 boys and girls from various primary schools around Horbury and students from Horbury High School took part in the show-stopping event!
Horbury Primary School, Middlestown Junior and Infants, Horbury Bridge Junior and Infans and Netherton Junior and Infants all took part in four weeks of dance sessions with Dance Development officer Jodie Travis.
During the four weeks each school created routines that they performed at Tuesday’s Festival.
Wildcats’ Projects Manager Sarah Robinson said: “The Festival was one of the most rehearsed there has ever been and the children’s behaviour and commitment was exemplary.”
The Wildcats Dance Department would like to thank the students from Horbury High School who attended and helped out at the Festival.
