Wakefield Wildcats are staging their annual ‘Ladies Day’ celebration when the Wildcats take on Harlequins on Sunday,

This is the day when the ladies in our lives are given a place of honour at the match against the boys from the nation’s capital.
And to give it an extra special touch this year’s ‘Ladies Day’ is being staged on the same day as the ‘Race for Life’ when thousands/ millions of female athletes don their running shoes to raise funds Cancer charities.
To recognise the efforts of the girl athletes any participants from the ‘Race for Life’ who come to the match will be given free entrance while all other female fans will qualify for a discount of 50 per cent on a normal match day ticket and get into the game for just £10.
‘Race for Life’ runners can obtain their free pass producing their event number, or entry confirmation e-mail.
The Wildcats’ fabulous cheerleaders, the Dolls, will be putting the female athletes through a pre-race warm-up routine, while their leaders Sarah Robinson and Jodie Travis, together with the club’s women and girl organiser Kathryn Jones and marketing organiser Nicola Richards will be taking part in the run.
