As a professional rugby league club, Wakefield Wildcats aim to treat fans to a fantastic afternoon out when they visit Belle Vue and an important part of our matchday is ensuring the away supporter's not only enjoy the game but the full day out.

This section of our website will give you all the information you need to enjoy the Wakefield Wildcats match experience.



How to get to the Stadium
BY BUS
The following buses serve to the stadium:-105,106,122,123,145,148,149, 150,167,168,172,182,184,185,189,192,193,485,489,497,498.

BY TRAIN
Trains from Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster and York go into Westgate Station.
Trains from Barnsley, Huddersfield, Goole, Castleford and Featherstone go into Kirkgate Station.

BY CAR
From the M1 Junction 39 Take the A636 Denby Dale Road towards Wakefield. At the first Roundabout (Asdale Road) carry straight on towards the city, you will see the Campanile Hotel on your left hand side, bear right under the railway bridge and continue towards the city with Wakefield Park on your left hand side. You will now see a mini-roundabout and some arches, go straight across the roundabout and under the arches, take a right at the next roundabout and head along Ings Road with Sainsburys and Homebase on your right hand side. Follow the signs for the A638 Doncaster Road. Once on Doncaster Road the ground is on the Right hand side after about half a mile.

From the M62 Take Junction 31 and take the A655 towards Wakefield. Turn right and join the A638 go under the railway bridges, head straight on and you will see Superbowl 2000 on the left hand side, Belle Vue Stadium is just beyond on the left.
There is parking available on the streets around the ground. There are quite a few car parks in Wakefield but you face a 15 minute walk to the ground after parking up although several buses listed above go past the ground.

When you arrive in Wakefield
The city centre is only a 5-10 minute drive from Belle Vue. Just outside of the centre is Cathedral Retail Park so why not grab a bite to eat before the game?

On the retail park you will find some fast food outlets and a pizza hut restaurant. Or if you prefer, you could call in at Nando's or Frankie & Benny's, where there are a huge selection of meals for all of the family to choose from.

There are is a pub opposite the ground, where you will be able to buy a drink before the game. Both home and away fans use this.

Arriving at Belle Vue Stadium
You can pre-purchase tickets for the game from Wakefield Wildcats club shop. You can buy them online by CLICKING HERE or you can call the Ticket Office on 01924 211611.

You can also pay on the gate unless otherwise publicised prior to the fixture.

Tickets are priced at:

STANDING:
Adults: £17
Concessions: £8

SEATING:

East Stand Wing:
      Adults: £18
      Children: £9

Centre Stand:
 Adults:£20

Please note if you wish to sit in the East Stand Wing or Centre Stand you will need to purchase your ticket beforehand, you will not be able to pay in on the day.


Inside the Stadium
When inside the stadium, if you are feeling hungry you can call at one of the food stalls, where drinks are also available. There is also a bottle bar on the West Terrace that sell alcoholic beverages.

To be in with a chance of winning a cash prize, why not buy one of our Community Trust Tickets? They are priced at £1 and can be bought from one of our Community Trust Ticket volunteers or one of the Wildcat Dolls that will be making their way around the ground.

You could also buy our match day programme with a preview on our opposition and their key players. There's plenty to read and activities for the children and you can pick yours up for £3 from one of our match day volunteers.


Pre-match entertainment
Pre-match entertainment is a major aspect of the Wakefield Wildcats experience and you're sure to be entertained in the build up to the big game. 

Last season saw many celebrities arrive at Belle Vue; taking the form of X-Factor's Ray Quinn, Journey South and Rowetta and 'I'm a Celebrity' winner Matt Willis.

Our Community team are working hard at the minute delivering coaching sessions and assemblies to schools in and around the Wakefield district. Game time
Now for the big event of the afternoon, 80 minutes of explosive Super League action as the two teams battle it out for the points. During the half-time interval, you can grab something to eat and drink and then get ready for the half-time entertainment. The Wildcat Dolls will be re-enterting the field to perform a couple of routines and Daddy Cool will challenge the opposing mascot in an 80 metre sprint.

Post-match
If you fancy staying behind for a drink, feel free to go in to the bar in CATS Bar (just outside the main entrance to the ground) to chat about the game.
