Andreas Liefeith is in his sixth year at the Wildcats, working specifically with academy and scholarship player.
His role is to facilitate the long term development of the younger player at the club, providing them with the physical, social and psychological skills to potentially progress to the elite level of rugby league. He has previously work at Leeds and Wigan rugby league clubs in a similar role.
Andreas has previously worked for the RFL delivering and supporting the development of coach education at level 3 & 4.
Currently, Andreas is actively involved in research into athletic development of rugby league players, he is registered for a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire.
As a part time member of staff Andreas also has a full time job, he works as a senior lecturer in Sport Science at York St John University specialising in Biomechanics and Sports Performance Conditioning.
