Anthony England is another new recruit for the Wildcats for the 2016 season. The Prop signed from Warrington Wolves penning a two-year deal at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

England got his break with first club Castleford Tigers during their Championship campaign in 2005. After Castleford regained their Super League status, he signed for Gateshead Thunder for 2006 after a loan spell with the club in the previous year.

England spent four years in the North-East before moving back to Yorkshire for spells with Dewsbury Rams and Featherstone Rovers.

The forward impressed for Featherstone and earned his move to the Super League for the first time with Warrington in 2014. England played a key role in helping the Wolves reach the Qualifying Semi-Final of the playoffs in 2014.

Upon his contract ending with Warrington, England took the opportunity to join the Wildcats for 2016. So far, the Prop has impressed for Trinity playing eight games and putting in some lung busting performances.
