4. Ashley Gibson

Ashley Gibson signed for the Wildcats over the summer from local rivals Castleford Tigers. He made his debut for Trinity in the second round of 2016 away at his previous club Castleford.

Gibson started his career at home-town club Leeds Rhinos, making his debut against Leigh in 2005 scoring a hat-trick off the bench. However in his 5 years at the Rhinos, Gibson struggled to hold down a starting spot and moved to the Salford City Reds for the 2010 season.

In his four seasons in Salford, Gibson made 82 appearances scoring 42 tries in the process. At the end of the 2013 season he signed for Castleford Tigers.

Despite only playing six games at the Jungle in his opening campaign, due to injury, Gibson had a much more productive 2015 with the Tigers, making 14 appearances and scoring seven tries.

Gibson has so far made three appearances in the Trinity colours after signing a two year deal at Belle Vue.
