Ben Jones-Bishop debuted for the Wildcats in the opening game of 2016 against the Vikings having joined the club in the off-season from Salford Red Devils.

Jones-Bishop started his career at home-town club Leeds Rhinos making a try-scoring debut in a 2008 Challenge Cup victory over Celtic Crusaders.

After impressing out on loan at London-based Harlequins in 2010, Jones-Bishop established himself as a first team regular at Headingley. He made a try scoring appearance in the 2011 Challenge Cup final defeat to Wigan at Wembley but capped off the 2011 season playing on the wing in Leeds’ 32-16 victory over St Helens in the Super League Grand Final.

After seven years in the Rhinos first-team, Jones Bishop took the opportunity to move across the Pennines to join Salford Red Devils for the 2015 season, scoring 16 tries in 25 games for the club in an otherwise unsuccessful season for the Red Devils.

So far Jones-Bishop has made six Trinity appearances scoring his first try in the defeat at Langtree Park in March 2016.
