Molloy signed for the Wildcats ahead of the 2013 Super League season from West-Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Giants. He made his Trinity debut in the win over Catalans Dragons in round 14 of the 2013 season.
Molloy made his Super League debut for previous club Huddersfield Giants against London side Harlequins in 2011. He made a further four appearances for the Giants before linking up with the Wildcats.
Shortly after joining Trinity, Molloy was loaned out to fellow Yorkshire side Dewsbury Rams and in 2015 he was loaned out to South-Yorkshire side Sheffield Eagles.
Molloy has made 32 Super League appearances for the Wildcats including eight this year, 2016 could see Jon become a regular first-team player.
