Tansey signed for Wakefield from West Yorkshire rivals Castleford Tigers mid-way through the 2015 Super League campaign.
Jordan made his Super League debut for home-town club Leeds Rhinos in 2006, coming off the bench to score in the emphatic 58-10 win over Catalans Dragons on March 11th. Tansey went on to make 53 appearances for the Rhinos before earning a move over to the NRL to play with the Sydney Roosters on loan.
Tansey managed seven appearances in his short spell on loan down under. On his return to England, he signed with Hull FC. He played 31 times for the Airlie Birds in his season and a half with the club.
For the 2011 season, the much travelled outside back, capable of playing anywhere along the back-line, moved to Wales to play for Celtic Crusaders.
Jordan then went on to spend a season in the Championship with York City Knights to earn his way back into the Super League.
Tansey was successful and earned his return with Castleford Tigers. Jordan made 46 appearances with the Tigers before moving to Belle Vue.
Jordan Tansey is currently spending time away from Wakefield on loan at fellow Super League side Huddersfield Giants.
