Nick Scruton signed for the Wildcats for the 2014 campaign and made his debut in the 56-14 home win over the Catalans Dragons.
Scruton debuted in Super League during Leeds Rhinos’ 2002 campaign. After spending time on loan at Hull FC in 2004, the 31-year-old established himself as a regular in the Rhinos 17.
After making 76 Super League appearances for Leeds, the Prop decided to move to Bradford Bulls. Scruton was largely a permanent fixture for the Bulls in Super League, appearing over 100 times and taking a clean sweep of awards at the end of the 2013 season.
After signing for the Wildcats, Scruton is one of the first names on the team sheet for Trinity and has made 55 Super League appearances so far for Wakefield.
Nick Scruton has also appeared seven times for England in his successful career, scoring a try in the win over Ireland in 2006.
