Following the RFL’s latest meeting with engage Super League coaches last week, it has been decided to implement new procedures for clubs when declaring their squads.
Currently engage Super League clubs have to declare a 20 man squad 72 hours before a match, which then has to be reduced to 18 men 24 hours before kick off.
However, following feedback from club coaches about the amount of administration time this takes up, the RFL has agreed to adopt a new system that will involve just one announcement before each game.
Starting this week (w/c 10 Match) clubs will now have to name a 19 man squad 48 hours before a game.
Unfortunately due to the injury crisis at Belle Vue, John Kear only has 18 players to select from for tomorrow's game so the 18 man squad is:
