Wakefield’s first team may have bowed out at the first hurdle in the play-offs but this Saturday the club’s Academy Grade will be going for Grand Final glory.
The match against Wigan this Saturday will bring the curtain down on the most successful season in the modern era for the Wildcats.
A best ever finish of fifth in Super League with a records points tally of 32 defied the pundits predictions and John Kear is assembling a squad that will has the potential to go even further in 2010.
In that squad will be six of the stars of the club’s all conquering Academy who go into this weekend’s title decider on the back of a sixteen game unbeaten run which stretches all the way back to the 25th April.
With this massive Grand Final on Saturday 12.30pm kick off, the club has decided to extend the season ticket renewal deadline to Saturday so you can come down and back the boys and make sure you have your ticket for every minute of the action in Super League XV.
The loyalty deadline also includes the option of buying a brand new away shirt for just £25, and also on Saturday the shop will be giving 2009 season ticket holders 15% of all stock.
Season tickets for 2010 are available at 2007 prices, where the loyalty renewal option starts from just £175 for adults- that’s just £12.50 a game for thirteen Super League fixtures and entry to the Wildcats Carnegie Challenge Cup Fourth Round fixture whether it be home or away!
If you miss the renewal deadline, or you weren’t a season ticket holder in 2009, then the early bird option is the one for you. If you buy before 30th November your adult season ticket is available from just £185. Over the course of the season that will save you nearly £100 on the price at the gate.
Junior and concession prices are equally excellent value whilst a family of two adults and two children can watch all of Wakefield’s home fixtures for less than £30 for the whole family! Where else can you get that sort of value for money for two hours of fantastic family entertainment?!
The club understands that supporters may not be able to pay for a season ticket in one go, so the loyalty and early bird option also gives you the chance to pay in instalments over six months.
Admission to the Academy Grand Final is just £4 for adults and £2 for concessions so get to the Hearwell Stadium this Saturday and back Tony Drury’s side as they look to round off a hugely successful season by bringing silverware to the club.
