Colin Sanctuary is the conditioner at the Wildcats having previously worked with the York City Knights (2001-2006) working alongside Leo Epicena, Paul Broadbent, Richard Agar and Mick Cook.
Colin has also worked with Durham County Cricket Club (2000-2006) providing their sports science support as well as also previously working with the English Institute of Sport, Hartlepool United FC, York City FC U19’s, North of England RU U17 Squad, England U16 Hockey Squad and North of England Netball.
As well as these practical experiences Colin has also worked as a lecturer in the School of Sports Science and Psychology at York St John College (1999-2005).
Colin has successfully completed his PhD as well as been a BASES Accredited Interdisciplinary Sports Scientist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, has a diploma in sports massage (VTCT) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
