Chris Annakin is a product of the Wildcats academy that was successful in the 2009 Valvoline Cup and signed his first full-time deal in 2010. The following season Annakin impressed enough to be offered a two-year contract which kept him at the club until the end of 2013.
The tough forward spent time at Workington Town in 2012 where he gained valuable match practice in the Championship One which has stood him in good stead for the rest of his career.
The former Shaw Cross Sharks player has previously represented Yorkshire and the aggressive and hard-hitting loose forward made his Super League debut in February 2013.
Annakin came of the interchange bench in a 28-0 victory over London Broncos at the Twickenham Stoop to kick-start his career at Belle Vue.
Chris went on to make 15 appearances in the 2013 Super League season, scoring one try in the defeat to Castleford.
Annakin has now run out 34 times for Trinity including four times in the 2016 season.
